Who can enroll?


Anyone can enroll in the FMEP, as long as you:
  • live in BC, and
  • have a valid maintenance order or agreement.
The FMEP is not just for situations where maintenance is not being paid. Many people enroll with us simply because it's easier to have us collect and track their payments.


How do I enroll?


You need to complete the Enrollment Package and send it to us with a copy of your court order or agreement.

How long does it take to enroll?


Enrollment usually takes several weeks after we receive your Enrollment package. (Incomplete or incorrect information could mean a delay.) Once your enrollment is complete, we will send you a Notice of Filing stating that your case is now enrolled with the FMEP.
